OOCEP Abu Tubul Block 60 GPP Project, Oman

Project Summary:

Abu Tubul (ABB) Block 60 field is located west of Saih Rawl, Sultanate of Oman. The gas and associated liquids produced from Block 60 are gathered and sent to Abu Tubul Gas Processing Plant (GPP) which is operated by Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP).

The processed gas from GPP is then exported via a 16” pipeline to the main gas transmission pipeline operated by Oman Gas Company. The stabilised condensate from GPP is exported to an 8” main oil transmission pipeline operated by Petroleum Development Oman.

Key Roles & Services Provided:

Synergy Plus Solutions provided the commissioning management consultancy services associated with the GPP Project.

The scope included design review, HAZOP support, separable portion system/subsystem definition, commissioning management system (CMS) subcontractor management, computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) subcontractor management and project completion planning during the completions preparation and detailed design phase. Services also included identification of handover certification and milestones including a project completions handover framework utilised during the project execution phase onsite in Oman.

Project completion document deliverables were identified, developed and managed on site as part of the handover and acceptance stages of process between construction completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance guarantee testing and operational phases of the project.

Focus and alignment was centred on integrated interface management and execution between all stakeholders being the EPC, construction contractor and client representatives.
